Sabah is a state of Malaysia on the island of Borneo. The island is unique in that it is divided by three separate countries. Sabah and Sarawak are part of Malaysia, Brunei is a sovereign country and Kalimantan is a territory of Indonesia. The city of Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Sabah. Located on the west coast and on the fringes of the South China Sea, “KK” is the bustling and colourful gateway to Sabah. You will find an international airport, world class hotels, many restaurants and cafes, shopping malls and business districts … and most importantly, many fine international standard golf courses.
Sabah has an equatorial climate with day temperatures ranging up to the mid-thirties Celsius and high humidity from the regular rainfall. It is usually clear skies in the morning with predictable rain in the afternoon.

Day 1 (Sunday, 07 July)
Depart Perth on Malaysian Airlines MH120 at 3.15pm arriving at Kota Kinabalu airport at 9.00pm.
Transfer to Magellan Sutera for check-in.
Day 2 (Monday, 08 July)
After breakfast, spend the day at leisure to explore Sutera Harbour Resort and down-town Kota Kinabalu’s shopping & markets.
Day 3 (Tuesday, 09 July)
After breakfast, experience your first round of golf at Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club. The 1st tee is a short stroll from your hotel room, and you will enjoy the morning tee time and vista of the South China Sea as you challenge this Graham Marsh championship golf course.
Dinner own arrangements.
Day 4 (Wednesday, 10 July)
After breakfast, transfer the short distance to the Tanjung Aru Railway station to board the North Borneo.
Railway steam train for this famous 4 hour round trip rail journey and relive the nostalgic romance of British North Borneo. The steam train, straight out of the 1900s, chugging along the tracks from Tanjung Aru, through Kinarut before arriving in the Rice Bowl town of Papar. Along the way, soak in the green vistas
of sprawling paddy fields, traditional village homes on stilts and buffaloes ambling in the distance.
Day 5 (Thursday, 11 July)
After breakfast, experience your second round of golf at Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club with a morning tee time.
Dinner own arrangements.
Day 6 (Friday, 12 July)
Early breakfast for the golfers, before the one hour transfer to Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club to the north of KK! Travel past Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Malaysia before arriving at the magnificent Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club. This is one of the most scenic & challenging golf course you will ever play.
This superb 18-hole championship course designed by Australian Ted Parslow, provides a stimulating and uplifting playing experience.

Day 7 (Saturday, 13 July)
Following breakfast, play your final round of golf in Sabah at Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club. Your last night at Magellan Sutera provides plenty of dinner options including the 6 restaurants at the resort, or visit the many fresh seafood restaurants on the KK waterfront.
Day 8 (Sunday, 14 July)
Early breakfast & check-out before transfer to KK airport for return flight to Perth on Malaysian Airlines MH 121 departing 8.30am and arriving into Perth at 2.00pm.

Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club
Designed by leading Australian golf course designer Graham Marsh, Sutera Harbour Golf Club has garnered many awards of distinction.
The course is finished with Bermuda grass and strategically challenging bunkers. Playing any combination of 18 holes, golfers will enjoy a par-72 six thousand metre course. The 27-hole championship golf course is beautifully landscaped with undulating terrain and numerous waterways, providing a challenge for both amateurs and top professionals alike. You can enjoy up to 17 hours of golf per day and even tee off well past sunset as the Resort offers the only night golfing opportunity in East Malaysia and one of the largest facilities in Malaysia.

Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club
Ensconced within the 400 acres of Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort, this superb 18-hole championship course designed by Australian Ted Parslow, provides a stimulating and uplifting playing experience. Bordered by the Tambalang and Mengkabong rivers with a stunning vista of Mount Kinabalu in the distance, Dalit Bay is a prime wetland course where water comes into play at every hole. The course is maintained in excellent condition year round, and has modern and comfortable Clubhouse facilities to ensure your game of golf is well rewarded.
