Kauri Cliffs

Matauri Bay, New Zealand

Located 300kms north of Auckland, in Matauri Bay, Kauri Cliffs first opened for play in 2000 and quickly became one of the top 100 courses in the world. One round here and it is not hard to see why. It’s layout has been compared to the iconic Pebble Beach with stunning views from the cliff tops across the Pacific Ocean. A busy day could see as many as 20 golfers on the course and with tee times staggered 20 minutes apart, players have plenty of time to take in the beautiful views and plan their approach to each of the amazing holes. There are so many good holes at Kauri Cliffs that it is hard to single out a few but the challenge of the par-3s in particular the tee shot into the 7th and 14th are sure to impress.
